Virtual Desktops Only On Primary Original

Kwin Scripts desktops monitor primary virtual workspaces

Description:

This is a script that brings a feature similar to GNOME Mutter's workspaces-only-on-primary option, that is switchable virtual desktops on the primary monitor, and non-switchable virtual desktops on other monitors.

When the script is enabled, all windows placed on monitors other than the primary, are automatically set to be shown on all virtual desktops. This can be considered a hack, but from the user's perspective, this effectively results in having multiple switchable virtual desktops on the primary monitor, and fixed non-switchable virtual desktops on other monitors. That's how GNOME Shell handles workspaces by default, and the script mimics that.

Besides enabling the script in the System Settings, no additional steps are required.

Hi i didn't have your email on palemoon so i decided to send u the message here:

I'm so lost, i'm a colorfultabs user with palemoon & the text & close button went to the bottom form palemoon v28 to v29,
I tried your addon but it requires tab icons & their downloads, something i disabled cause oit gives me too much graphic needless
infos. So i changed this for the text:

.tab-text { text-align: left !important; padding-left: 5px !important; }
.tab-text { height: 26px; }

But i really don't know what to use for .tab-close
so it moves to 26px too.. sloightly upwards.. the tab-close button is actually still at the bottom of the tab.

it would be so kind of you if you could suggest me a working style line for this close button ((

7 I have run into a problem with the script. It does work as described, but when the secondary monitor switches to another desktop, you loose the ability to configure the desktop. So no wallpaper, no folder, etc. Right clicking on the desktop doesn't bring up the configure desktop dialog.

I came across this issue, this is because the script dynamically pins and unpins everything to work, but because of this it also unpins the plasma desktop!
You can work around this by creating a new Window Rule that targets the plasmashell window class (substring match) and the Desktop window type. Finally under Size and Position set Virtual Desktop to Force All Desktops, this will force all plasma desktops to be pinned to all virtual desktops and will override the script.
