Troubleshooting:
the bar with the icons is AWN (avant window navigator)
you can install it following this guide: http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=572019
for the bar with the sensors, just go to the main panel, right click on it and select 'New panel', then on the new panel, right click on it and select 'Add to panel' and search for 'Hardware Sensors Monitor' on the 'System & hardware' tab.
if you dont have 'Hardware Sensors Monitor' install it with these commands:
sudo aptitude install lm-sensors sensors-applet
if you dont have 'emerald' (compiz theme manager) you can install it with these commands:
sudo aptitude install git git-core compiz-dev compizconfig-settings-manager emerald
git-clone git://anongit.opencompositing.org/users/crdlb/fusion-icon
cd fusion-icon
make
sudo make install
Go to System > Preferences > Sessions and add "fusion-icon" to the Startup
To enable Emerald, start fusion-icon and right click on it and select window decorator: emerald.
To install other Emerald Themes do this:
sudo apt-get install subversion
git clone git://anongit.compiz-fusion.org/fusion/decorators/emerald-themes
cd emerald-themes/themes
svn co https://svn.generation.no/emerald-themes emerald-themes
mv emerald-themes/* .
rm -rf emerald-themes
./import.sh
cd ..
mkdir ~/.emerald/themes
mv themes ~/.emerald/themes

Well i am the root user and when i try to extract everything only 5 of the 10 items get extracted no matter where i extract. (desktop or home folder). This is what happens when I use the terminal codes: jon@Laptop:~$ cp Fuz2y_Desktop_Theme_v1.2.tar.gz ~/ cp: cannot stat `Fuz2y_Desktop_Theme_v1.2.tar.gz': No such file or directory jon@Laptop:~$ cd ~/ jon@Laptop:~$ sudo tar -zxvf Fuz2y_Desktop_Theme_v1.2.tar.gz tar: Fuz2y_Desktop_Theme_v1.2.tar.gz: Cannot open: No such file or directory tar: Error is not recoverable: exiting now tar: Child returned status 2 tar: Error exit delayed from previous errors Please help me out with this.
Hey dude you said to extract it to home folder as a root user! but how do you do that exactly?
Thanks for this. It is not that hard to install I can understand it even though I am new here.

I tried installing emerald with these instructions. Now none of my windows have boarders and there is no text in the terminal window. I have to set visual effects to none in order to do anything. I apologize for being a noob, but I had nice effects using fusion before this emerald catastrophe.
